- Josh grew up listening to Squeeze, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and Rick Astley, but then got into late 90’s indie rock bands such as Self and Failure who inspired him to first start playing the guitar.
- Is a member of the parody group Rainbow with brother and fellow Paramore member Zac Farro, and their hometown friend Zach Hall.
- When Josh was in school, he and a friend used to play a game in math class in which they would moon each other and try not to get caught.
- Used to play the bagpipes.
- Has a fear of spiders.
- Favorite soda is Sprite.
- Josh and brother Zac used to cover Incubus and Sum 41 songs in their early years of playing guitar and drums.

I’m a pretty straight forward guy. I take life really seriously. I love my family and friends more than anything (which most everyone does but I love mine more).
